One light setup with the StellaPro Reflex S

At first, we set up the Reflex camera on a light stand while my assistant held an overhead lamp to direct lighting towards Blair’s face and create dimension through butterfly-style light. Because of inverse-square law of light, the falloff of light became very rapid resulting in an increasingly dark background.

Two light setup with the StellaPro Reflex S

As part of my next setup, I added another StellaPro Reflex S light equipped with the Spot Optic to illuminate Blair and add separation from her background. You’ll see in the video how we needed to experiment with different amounts of lighting but I love how these final images turned out!
